The extended addition.. why stop at purse.. heres whats in my room (mainly the cupboard)!

So its been a while. Uni and blah blah. Anyways, first day of my semester holidays and im doing a major clean of my room. Though it would be fun to write all the interesting things i discover.
the cupboard clean:
> 5 tubes of toothpaste in a handbag, and i also spotted one on one of my shelves
> about 20 gazillion chocolate wrappers :S
> a whole bottle of apple and strawberry soap/moisturiser – i think i bought that back ages ago cos it was on sale and sounded yummy.
> box of cookie mix
> 3 pairs of shoes still in their boxes i forgot i owned – too bad they are summer wedges
> a pair of fluffy handcuffs :S
> a roll of christmas wrapping paper
> bottle of marshmallow fluff – :S
> popping candy and jelly crystals!

My internet is being the most snailiest internet EVER. Takes forever just to open up one page….. It might be due to the overusage of internet and hence going over the limit. No idea. Not really my problem. Well actually it is because it means I can’t use the internet as well.

O – week this week – fun times. They claimed it would be awesome and blah blah blah with over 65 events etc. Pft LIES. It was pretty lame.

I went to work, and scored myself a $20 tip – w00t. Though now I only have $10 left as I spent half on pool games. Happyface slash frownyface. I was winning 1 – 3… should have left it at that because in the end I lost  4-3 lameface.

What else.
My room is now a lot more spacious. Have moved my desk out of my room and to the room next door. 

Oooh back to my pool story. (And this was going to be my main story LOL)
So, was driving home and yes, I know that when an emergency vehicle has its lights flashing and the siren, you move over to the left (or off the road) so they can get past. I was not paying attention to my surroundings and all of a sudden there was this cop car behind me flashing its lights and siren.. the car in front pulled over… and then I braked.. in the middle of the road… OMG I knew I was slightly speeding but Baboom Baboom my heart was going so fast. Turns out they just wanted to get past and kept going. PHEW.
So after that, I am sitting at the traffic lights, listening to the radio when all of a sudden pokerface comes on. Good song. Funniest thing …. the girl in the car behind was obviously listening to the same song because in my rearview mirror, I could see her mouthing the “pokerface.. p p p p p p p poker face” LOL. Funny as. The song stopped and she stopped singing. Ha.

So I have work again tomorrow – Karaoke night. And I have decided I will get up and sing my long overdue karaoke….. too bad it is because I am working and therefore I am unable to down a few drinks before hand..

On the topic of alcohols – I remembered from the title of “curried egg puffs“.
I drank a bit too much at my pre-anti-farewell. I was gone by about 10 pm. Nice work Trudy. Nice Work I say. Awesomely fun night.

Um…. Oh I am hoping to go to the snow for a week mid year… Too bad it is going to set me back around 1250 ish. And I’d like to go with friends.. but uni students and all dont tend to have a lot of spare cash to go snow tripping.

Uni classes start next week. Kind of looking forward to it, kind of not. I quite enjoy the whole working here and there and then just relaxing in between. Hmm.

Oh and a new quiz thing will be up sometime today. Because Im bored. That is all for now.

(And now to go back and bold, italicise, underline, link and colour words etc)… I want to learn how to make my own bg and side pannel but me being spastic in that sense I cant really.

Speaking of spastic… Driving towards an unfamiliar shopping centre… The sign said turn right here only or something… So I did. Guess they meant the first one (to go up the UP ramp) not up the exit ramp.. where a car was on its way down. FAILS. (and that is how the title of this blog came.)

 

What to do with $950…

Thursday 8:55 am ish, I was standing outside balcony of the upper floor of the local shopping centre waiting for the hairdresser’s place to open.. and I got to see the huge crowd of people waiting around the doors to aldi… and as soon as the door is half open.. they duck under and run into the shop… never seen people so keen to get into a supermarket before HAHA. Anyways so my hair appointment was at 9.. got it all cut and layered.. then decided to go ahead with the highlights… so two hours later at 11 am i was done. And I must say, yes it was a tad expensive but considering i paid just 10 more than i did the last time i got my hair cut and coloured i was a lot more happier this time wiht the results. Last time i was a bit disappointed.. the haircut was more like a minor trim and the highlights were not that obvious.. this time i got them just a tad lighter.. so its not blonde but a nice caramel colour.. and yes i am quite happy. Definitely would go back there again.. well it was my second time there and i think im happy with the service they provide

What else.  I had a bit of a wah on the phone to a friend about my job… and the lamefaceness of it BUT now im all happy cos i managed to sort things around that … and yeah.
Im having an anti-farewell this thurs and that should be exciting.

I was one of the people that said no. Okay so i can understand it would be a nice thing to do.. and yes, since i have been in a similar situation with bushfires 6 yrs ago i do know partly what its like but not completely. I admit i was lucky . very lucky. 
Yes I plan to donate blood today or tomorrow – as for materialistic things i heard on the radio that they cant physically take anymore and that the best thing to donate is money.  Which brings me to the 950.. … okay so its a wonderful genorous idea to divert it but think about it as an individual.. for me.. im at uni 950 is not much in terms of uni fees and text books and stuff but its still quite a bit.. especially considering i was living off 45 dollars a week last yr… but i managed.  So yes i would be more than happy to donate some of that 950 but not all of it… For someone as young as me still in uni 950 is quite a lot for a donation… especially when u put it into respect with what i earn… and what i use my money for or need to use it for. Not to mention if i had 950 id probably put that asside for my trip to canada at the end of the year…

That being said i guess that ppl might have clicked yes cos they want to look like they are doing the right thing but in reality i dont think id want to give up all my 950.. not because im selfish … but because i dont think that amount is reasonable base on my situation atm

Anyways thats it .. uni starts next week oh the fun.
And till then i get to work friday and sat 6 – 1am ish oh yay … hopefully it wont be too bad

But for now im off to make a timetable for classes to try and sort out when i can put a work shift in here and there..

 

Desperate and Stalkerish??

So for once I will actually write a blog based on what i said previously..

- Uni – oh the choices. blah blah blah
So I had to make the decision of uni.. whether to go to CSU or ANU… at one point it was 85-90% sure I was moving to CSU.  As usual I left it to the last minute to make a decision.. since it kept changing so often.. but I went to wagga (as i will mention under that wagga blah blah blah heading) and when i came back all i did was sort out stuff for ANU. So it went to about 85% going to about 45-50% going.. I never accepted  my offer to CSU, so now it has been officially decided that i am staying.. and NOW i still wonder if i should have gone but the whole i had half a degree left to go… and i had pretty much everything here so if worse comes to worse i can finish this degree off and then do post grad something somewhere… but i think it really came down to i could do a course i wasnt 100% sure i wanted to do in wagga or do a course i wasnt 100% sure but had done half of anyway here.

- My Day Trip to Jamberoo – oh the fun. blah blah blah
- WAS AWESOME. so we didnt end up leaving on time, we had detours due to failing GPS that kept asking us to make a u-turn where possible… but was my first road trip… and i organised it too … and yeah was awesome def will do something again soon. my next trip i hope to be is the snow or brisbane.. but money is always a bit issue. anyways so had an awesome time and took lots of photos (until the camera died)…. and some vids so for all the ppl that didnt go they can watch some vids and think of themselves being there.. the photos are up on fb but the vids are yet to be loaded.. within the next week or so i think… Oh and we saw the giant sheep… and the giant poo/wombat/potato . YAYS

- My Day Trip to Wagga (Wagga) – oh the meh. blah blah blah
Wagga was hot. and the uni is really small but spread out…. it was fairly nice.. the accomodation was okay if u were self catered but the catered one.. im not sure if no air con and external corridors are for me haha … doesnt matter since im not going though. Also the oral health science building was still being built … apparantly they will have it done within 2 to 3 weeks.. hmmmmm interesting

- My Trip to Aldi – oh the consequences. blah blah blah
So my local shops got an aldi.. yay.. and i gots chocolate spread woohooo…. and aldi-hol. yay. i made that word up . its awesome i know.. im awesome… its an awesome word.

- My Schnipp Schnopp Schnapp – oh the shame. blah blah blah
I boughts apple. yay. i had a crap afternoon. i did not think. i got a little bit involved with my schnapps. never again.

- My Licence – oh the joy. blah blah blah
Finally after 3 years i have no glasses/braces in my photos.. and i officially have the automatic only thing not on my licence (not that i had it on my ps before haha).. so i got a new photo yay… and its not hte best but at least its better than before and im not wearing a white top that makes my head look supspended in mid air
- My Failed Driving – oh the embarassment. blah blah blah
I stalled getzy. haha. and it was the best place too.. the hoyts ramp… so i kept rolling back down and the car behind had to reverse the whole way cos i kept rolling.. 10 mins later i was up the hill.. oh the fails.. LOL
- My Failed Lunch – oh the suprises. blah blah blah
It was toast. not that hard… since i am awesome at making toast. However i put the choc spread from aldi in the wine fridge so it was hard… so decided to microwave it for a few seconds to warm it… i can not multi task at anything… so toast was cooking and it usually goes 1 and a bit times… id done the 1 so it was on the bit… and the spread was in the microwave.. till ZZZZZZP ZZZZZZP it was sparking. so i stopped the microwave to have a burning smell…. it was all good just some foil on the lid oops… then cos i was on msn at the time went to tell my friend… then realised the toast was still cooking.. oh fails.

 

Um thats it at least i think that is what i was going to say… what else. Oh im thinking of getting my hair cut.. i have approval-ish by two ppl on this one style but it has highlights and im not sure if i wanna get highlights or not… or if i can pull of the hairstyle at all.. but i really need to change my hair… its soooo boring. oh what else? um i bought what happens in vegas on dvd – AWESOMETOWN. and yeah thats it..

oooh and i found the perfect way to get rid of myspace… my quizzes and stuff.. i have a catagory on here now…. so they will all be loaded here…. rather than on myspace… but they wont be stickied to the front page.. so only the really desperate stalkerish ppl will read them HAHA. thats it..

oh and i wrote this little paragraph after writing the title so this doesnt count.. but yeah i plan to tidy up my blog too like tag it properly and catagorize it and one day ill get my own design/bg for it if i ever figure that out… till then its the lame ones that wp gives you…. and that my friends is it.. now for some lunch. yay

CSU vs ANU

So I applied for dentistry at CSU and didnt get in.. That being the case, over the last month or so I got 2 jobs and planned to change my uni degree at ANU to just a science degree… I thought i had it all sorted.. Science at ANU with a job (or two) on the sideline where i worked once a week or so… That was until today when my mother reminded me that uni offers were out today at 9pm.. It kind of slipped my mind that i had applied for oral health science too.

So now the news, I got an offer there… So now i face the decision of whether to accept (And move to CSU) or stay and continue my degree.

Hopefully I can go have a look at the place next wednesday if my mother is able to take the day off and check out the campus etc.. But i have to decide by next thursday/friday… The decisions..

This is probably one of the hardest things .. in a way it would have been good if i didnt get offered… at least i wouldnt have to make the decision.. and somehow i dont think i can defer for a year and stay at anu… We will see.

I think the hardest thing for me is that im not 100% sure what i want to do… and CSU  – its a course i could possibly enjoy and do alright at…. or ANU … a course i could do the same at but at the end im more likely to get a job from CSU than ANU… CSU has the on campus life which i have always wanted to experience after hearing about the wonderful things from my best friend and her life as a uni resident… but ANU has everything else… What a fun next week this will be…..

also i changed the bg cos the otherone was a bit gloomy but this one seems to have a retarded side pannel… unfortunately i dont know much bout coding so i cant even fix that and just have to stare at its retardeness…

 

Doing the P off Course – Not for more points but for a new photo (Because a red top clearly shouldnt be worn for a licence of red background).

Is that even how you spell errands? Originally had it with one r but that didnt look right… maybe its 3 rs.. LOL.. errrands…

So I have two jobs and even with that (well 3 kind of but the third only requires me an hour at most once a week on the Saturday or Sunday) so two jobs and I have still managed to score myself no work till Saturday at 7 am. SCORE.

So my first day for a while where I did the lazy thing. Went to bed round 12 and slept in till 10: 40 am.. which also involved me hitting the snooze button every 8 minutes since 7:54 am. nice work trudy.

So after waking up and getting out of bed.. – so strange since a year ago I used to wake up 7 am regardless what day and couldnt physically stay in bed later than 8 am..  Gosh things have changed.

Anyways so today in order to make myself feel productive I plan to fill out the form to get my free camera case since I purchased the camera end of dec and have to redeem the free thing by the 31st… Also fill out tax stuff for work since i got that half way through dec and still havent done that…

So what else should one do to feel productive.. Im thinking going through my bathroom and throwing out all those old lotions/creams/shampoos you get from hotels and all the junk that collects and putting stuff in there i actually use. I used to be a huge hoarder and collect the hotel soaps and lotions and then they would just sit there … or I would get a nice showergel thing for a present and not use it…. Because it was too nice.. and then eventually i end up throwing it away cos its gone off OR i end up just having it sit there… collecting dust.

- HA I just got shown another awesome picture of something… a road map of problem solving…

Oh and that somehow reminded me I still need to buy a calendar for this year .. though now that i got a diary (which i aim to use… seeing as last year i got one for free and then used it a month then forgot about it…. ) so now i have a diary maybe i dont need a calendar.. The last one i bought for my wall was just sitting there… and come december i realised it was still on the page for August… :S… I only paid about 5 bucks for it.. Always do… who seriously pays 25 bucks for a calendar?.. Me i wait till end of jan .. 75% off and oh so what i miss one month out of 12…. still im happy.

So yes that is what I shall do now… Attack the small part of my room.. that being the bathroom… deciding what to keep or throw and yes.

Oh so the otherday had a conversation with my friends about licences… and how i was driving a manual even though i only went for an automatic licence originally. But on my licence it doesnt say under conditions A (for automatic only).. It just says S (for corrective lenses)… and my friend had her licence that said A…

So i got a letter today for an application for renewal of my Drivers Licence and on there it says the class conditions are A, S. HAHAHA. also I just got reminded that yes i do have the most awesome licence number EVER.
Also this means i can finally get rid of that ugly photo – which is quite hilarious.. since i have neither braces or glasses usually.. (due to contacs and removal of braces)… and im wearing a red shirt on a licence with a red bg… THAT IS NOT RIGHT. I even thought about doing the P off course to get a new licence photo.. but never got around to it… this just might be my lucky day… well we shall see when i go get my licence renewed

Road Trippin

So that last MASSIVE post was a whole lot of ramble.

Anyways, so as of late I have cut down the hours of work at my two jobs, making myself available only 2 or 3 shifts a week so that I can make the most of my last month of holidays to spend it with friends, and just relax a bit.

The long weekend is coming up – and lucky me Im working on the saturday and sunday but at least sunday I finish at 2 so ill have a bit of time before going to the Australia Day Live Concert, if I do end up going.

Finally, 20 yrs of my life have gone by and I am about to embark on my first road trip with friends (assuming it goes ahead for monday)… Just a day trip to Jamberoo. So essentially I win in all areas if this does go to plan. I get to go away and have an awesome time with friends, dont have to worry about accommodation and the whole trip being too expensive, AND being about 3 hours I still get the whole road trip experience.

In other news, Facebook.  So I cleaned out my profile, and (unrelated – my , key seems to be a bit slow or retarded but anyways) so i cleaned out my profile and one of the things I removed was my relationship status. So being facebook and its lovely self it says “Trudy C is no longer listed as single”. And why am I not suprised that people then ask me if i am with this person now or that person or who it is etc…. Which reminds me… the other day one of my friends told me they were going out with another friend… (not suprising since they have known each other for ages etc but anyways.. the point..) the point is that they mentioned it to me… and i didnt know…. apparantly it had only been 4 months.. Obviously he was ready to tell me when he felt like it was appropriate or comfortable with it. I mean i dont mind people knowing stuff about me etc but for me ill tell people when im ready… if i want people to know i will tell them.. if i dont i wont… so that whole fb thing just proved my point how easy it is to guess or assume one thing without knowing all the facts….

Anyways so another bit a of a rant… mentioned about going seeing a movie with someone this week sometime… and that whoever was interested should come and it all came down to something along the lines of “you should create a fb event for it” or something like that..and then a few hours later they asked me if i had created the event yet… If its THAT important.. create it yourself!.. Getting a little bit annoyed how i have to organise so much these days… Okay so the road trip i can understand cos it was my idea … and then the other day was talking to someone and they told me that they didnt want to go with such a small amount of people and that i should invite more people – that got me slightly annoyed… i mean the reason i didnt add everyone was because they personally dont know a lot of my uni friends as well and they mentioned they didnt want to go with ppl they didnt nkow that well… it seems like i cant win.

So thats about it for now..
Work this arvo… then im free till saturday should be awesome.. some time for myself and shopping…

Car update : i can drive my car now a little bit better… cant go many places but im getting the hang of this whole stickshift thing
